Expert in the theory and practical application of the Perpetual Inventory Model, the treatment of intellectual property in the national accounts, and the conversion of business accounting concepts to national accounts concepts.Member of Eurostat-OECD task force on Land and other Non-Financial Assets. Contributed chapter drafting, redrafting and advice to the 2018 Compilation Guide on Inventories. Currently working on supplementary guidance to measuring Intellectual Property Products in the national accounts.

Various roles including assistant economist of productivity branch with responsibility for research and compilation of inputs to the UK growth accounting model. Other roles in the non-financial assets production and methods branches with responsibilities relating to estimating gross fixed capital formation, changes in inventories, the consumption of fixed capital and balance sheets.
