I have 40+ years of experience as an exploration and exploitation geoscientist working the Gulf of Mexico Basin (GOM). I have ten years Deepwater GOM exploration experience, six years at Mariner Energy, three years at Exxon, and one year at Burlington Resources. I have twenty-seven years working GOM Shelf and south Louisiana at Whitney O&G, Burlington Resources, and Exxon. My first six years were with Exxon in south Texas.I have extensive 3D seismic interpretation experience across the GOM and have been working 3D seismic projects continuously since 1990. I am well versed in seismic amplitude anomaly evaluation utilizing AVO analysis, fluid replacement, etc. I currently utilize IHS/Kingdom and Landmark for seismic interpretation but can quickly adapt to any other seismic interpretation software if needed.My background in geology and understanding of clastic depositional environments assists me in applying the best seismic attributes to define lateral extents and sand thickness ranges for exploration prospects. I have extensive experience correlating subsurface well control and incorporating all tops, faults, unconformities, etc. into my seismic interpretation. I currently utilize Petra geological software for log correlations, isopach mapping, and volumetric evaluations but again can adapt to any other geologic software if needed.I have extensive experience mapping a variety of structural styles including heavily faulted salt piercements, salt overhang/subsalt traps, extensional faulted anticlines, and compressional fold belts. I am an excellent communicator and enjoy working in a team environment.
