I have twelve years experience as a Shipping Clerk for E-Myth Worldwide, which is a small business consultant in Santa Rosa.When starting at E-Myth I had no experience in the office life or being a shipping clerk for that matter. I was hired as a temp and learned the craft in an on-the-job situation. The company was recruiting possible candidates to take over the job. I was hired permanently because of the way I trained and my ability to get the job done.When I first started we used hand written forms to send mail. During my time at E-Myth Worldwide we moved to using software for USPS, Fed Ex and UPS, the three main companies that we used. We sent materials Worldwide so I learned the cheapest way to send things , still keep our clients happy and also were involved with Customs information. I literally sent things all over the world.Ninety percent of the mail sent out was study materials for E-Myth Worldwide clients. As time went on the Materials were put online and that eliminated most of the mail. My last day was May 29th, 2010.Besides being the main member of the Shipping Department I also did some financial jobs like clarifying credit cards. I also did some bookwork which included recording daily sales. One other job I had was answering the company telephone and setting inquiries to the right person.I also have three part time jobs all having to do with local sports through KSRO, YSN365.com and the Press Democrat
