Artist Curation + Event Production: Curated Philadelphia-based musicians working to create new approaches to making music for a day of performances at the Kimmel Center. Worked closely with artists and production staff to ensure all musicians technical needs were met.Social Media: Developed and executed a social media campaign crowd-sourcing music for use in the program.Rights Management: Drafted contracts. Secured the rights to over 60 albums from 40 different artists.Music Curation: Assembled four hours of music mixes for play in the theater and streamed online during the event. Playlists used music from independent Philadelphia-based artists. Mixes were focused to emphasize the themes of the event (Systems and Society, Culture and Meaning, Incredible Machines, Between the Ears) as well as to set the tone and mood of the room (entrance, exit music, keeping people engaged, etc).After Party Planning: Booked DJs, managed production staff and a team of volunteers. Secured an in-kind donation of rental sound equipment.
