Responsible for leading the company’s supply chain department including purchasing, receiving, warehousing, shipping, and transportation. Manage expenditures of over $120 million, achieving annual cost savings of over 6%.Implemented a supplier report card and supplier management program, which led to more collaborative relationships with supplier base.Led cross-functional team that drove material program strategy for key raw material products. Led all supplier negotiations, resulting in cost savings or avoidance in excess of $4 million.Drove use of third-party logistics that resulted in reduction of total cost to operations.

Responsible for creating and driving the company’s materials sourcing department. Accountable for $6 million budget, 24 people, and 7 direct reports. Mentored sourcing personal to move department from tactical/transactional department to a more strategic and integral organization. Also established, hired, and developed first-ever sourcing management teams for the company in Asia.Managed expenditures of over $700 million, achieving annual cost savings of over 7.5%.Created 10 cross-functional, global strategic raw material sourcing teams and established commodity strategy for each team to support Strategic Customer Business Units.

Directed concept through deployment of Intel’s first-ever third-party logistics outsourcing program, including implementation of initial outsourcing programs worth over $35 million in revenue.Directed cross-functional RFQ team that contracted with five multinational outsourcing suppliers.Engaged in benchmarking and peer relationship development with companies such as Cisco, HP, and Dell.As Program Manager collaborated with Intel's Worldwide Materials groups to facilitate outsourcing programs - first year savings of over $1.6 million.Developed network strategy that reduced product life-cycle time by 40%.Managed staff at 13 sites and freight expenditures of over $150-million. Directed Supplier Implemented cost savings programs that equated to over $15 million annually.Created and drove Strategic Objectives for Americas Traffic and Security Team.
