Joe Perry is a Brooklyn-based artist and entrepreneur. His parents were to two public school teachers in New Jersey. From a young age, Perry became a voracious reader. He moved to California to earn an English degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, intent on becoming a poet and novelist. He also briefly studied at King's College London under the tutelage of Dr. Mark Betz Ph.D. and earned a double major in Film & Media Studies.Intent on learning more, Perry took his talents to Los Angeles to obtain an MFA in Film & Television Production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts. His focus remained on writing & directing. Perry has always been curious about the human condition, driven by the emotional truth of every project. His work is rooted in a deep appreciation for people, as well as the divinity of nature. At the 27th Director’s Guild of America Student Film Awards, Perry was honored as Best Director (West Region) and received Jury Prize for his thesis film "Niño de Nadie." Perry has numerous scripts in development and is currently launching Film Mastery™ - the premiere fast track academy for aspiring cinematic storytellers."I believe my life and abilities culminate in each project.
