Our team increased NOI from leasing by 5 times and planned, rezoned, and created a marketing strategy resulting in a $300 Million to date mixed use projects and $4 Million stand alone bar/restaurant.

Joined Lee’s Summit, MO real estate development company as Project Manager in 2002 with responsibility for the architecture, engineering, urban design, land planning and government regulatory processes. During tenure, the company planned and zoned over 1000 acres of land. Designed and directed the construction of Midwest Living Magazine 2005 Idea Homes. Responsibilities included the commercial development, sales and leasing efforts, evaluation of multi-family land offerings, design and construction of 1.5 miles of parkways, and development feasibility. Actively engaged in the civic representation of the company and successful submission of company projects for industry awards and recognition. Instrumental in the land transactions for two luxury apartment complexes, lot sales to a national home builder, two signature bank buildings, and pad site transactions for two convenience stores, McDonalds, and CVS.

Project Director (private contractor) for the Central Business Corridor Transit Plan; A joint project of the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority, the City of Kansas City, MO and the Federal Transit Administration. Duties included managing a 13 firm consulting team, administering a $3 million budget, negotiating and managing the multi-jurisdictional cooperative agreement between the three agencies, and coordinating public information efforts. Personally responsible for more than 150 public information presentations to neighborhood groups, political bodies, civic organizations, business groups, editorial boards, and industry conferences.
