I developed processes and procedures to help our department thrive, successfully manage relationships with our constituents (donors, alumni, and parents) in a validating way that ensured their experiences and thoughts were heard, accurately managed department data in multiple databases (including Salesforce), supervised department employees, and collaborated with other university departments to effectively care for and engage our community as well as achieve mutually beneficial goals. From July 2023-May 2024, I served as the department lead; during that time, I was responsible for the total work of our department, shaping its direction and strategies.

I helped to start, support and strengthen Alpha groups meeting in YMCAs across the nation. As the first person to serve in this role, I was tasked with developing a sustainable model for Alpha groups to be hosted in YMCAs, identifying best practices and making necessary adjustments along the way. During my time in this role, I was able to:-Bring together and help leaders from different organizations partner in collaborative efforts, leading to 55 Alpha groups being hosted in YMCAs -Recruit, train and mentor 35 leaders to lead Alpha groups in YMCAs, helping them to quickly understand the culture of the YMCA to enable them to lead most effectively-Proactively build strong relationships with YMCA leaders, church leaders, and Alpha staff in 18 states-Make 76 presentations to different audiences at local, regional and national levels-Manage a $60000 budget that included travel and program expenses-Create social media content and monthly communications

I provided care, guidance and mentorship to 40+ students, young adults and youth staff.While serving in this role, I was able to :-Develop curriculum, write lessons and make engaging presentations in a variety of settings, including youth group, church services, adult classes, seminars and youth camps-Recruit, train and coach 13 volunteer staff, providing encouragement and feedback on areas of improvement-Plan and facilitate events appealing to youth and young adults, including community activities, service opportunities and camps (often partnering with other local churches and agencies)

I led the custodial department at Multnomah University, ensuring the cleanliness of the campus.My responsibilities in this role included:-Hiring, training and overseeing 30-35 part-time student employees during school year, 15 full-time student employees during summer as well as the full-time Custodial Supervisor-Ensuring the team met quality standards by teaching and coaching staff toward high service levels-Preparing the annual budget proposal and managing the budget throughout year
