After five years of Restaurants Management, I moved on to managing the office of DATAWISE—a small internet/computer service company in Allegan for a year before moving into the automotive field with K-Line Industries of Holland Michigan for two years where I was offered a Supervisor position.As a Projection Manager at the Star Theater in Holland, I worked with major movie production companies to deliver superior entertainment through video and audio calibration of theater surround sound systems.At Safari Technology I built, tested and repaired circuit boards using CNC machinery, blue prints and schematics. As the lead technology rep at Office Depot in Lake Forest California for two years I also ran my own small business working with people to teach them how to use their modern computers, home networks and other technology. I built, repaired, and upgraded computer systems and networks. I had the privilege to work with an Amazing book publishing company called The Fresh Ink Group, editing and designing book covers. 2011 - 2018JBS Plainwell Purchasing Assistant. My daily tasks involve inventory of our Chemical warehouse, supply room, Ink and toner supplies for all copiers and printers, the requisitioning of all packaging, labels and shipping supplies, consumables, office supplies, janitorial items, and other supplies such as tools, machinery, parts, computer equipment and services. Basically I buy everything needed to keep JBS Plainwell operational except the cattle. Communication with vendors and manufacturers is essential to insuring that the order process is completed properly and smoothly, following through to the delivery and receiving of products.2018. Took over, cleaned up, and restructured our Front Supply room. Using new flow charts and data tracking spreadsheets. I made necessary changes to improve operations.2019. Still in Purchasing, I Accepted a Lead Person position in our Recieving/Stockroom area.
