In addition, I am responsible for day-to-day operations of multi-day, in depth, all-inclusive team building experiences for Fortune 500 companies, sports teams, and entrepreneurial groups. My active shooter instructor experience focuses on teaching “left of bang” principles as well as developing active shooter standard operating procedures and response for corporate environments. I have conducted numerous corporate site assessments and red cell operations to determine security risk posture; provided security recommendations and implementation guidance.Coast Tactical Training is a collective of subject matter experts made up of Navy SEALs, Marines, Army, and Law Enforcement professionals. We share our expertise with private citizens, corporate teams, and community organizations by offering a variety of training courses, all of which may be customized. Through our consultative approach and developmental process, we assess client goals and needs to provide the most relevant custom experiences. We also deliver keynote speakers who inspire far beyond those found on the typical speaking circuit.

I conduct criminal investigations, including violent crimes against persons, property, street level narcotics violations and gang crimes. In the process, I identify case issues and evidence needed, based on analysis of charges, complaints, or allegations of law violations. I prepare detailed investigative reports leading to convictions. In addition, I interview and interrogate informants, suspects, and witnesses to ascertain pertinent information, time frames, motives, to obtain confessions, and statements of evidentiary value. I also collaborate with other offices and agencies to exchange information and coordinate activities leading to convictions.I am the Vice President of Police Officers’ Association, a member of the firearms training unit, and serve as Program Coordinator of the Physical and Mental Wellness TeamThe Oceanside Police Department ensures the safety and security of all people in the City of Oceanside by providing responsive and professional police service with compassion and concern. Our purpose is to work with the community to build trust and provide quality service that actively prevents crime, reduces the fear of crime, and promotes safety. I led, managed, and mentored 10 counterintelligence/human intelligence collectors, analysts, support personnel, State Department and Department of Defense civilians. I was responsible for day-to-day operations of geographic regions while identifying long term weaknesses and implementing procedures to make operations safer and more efficient, with zero loss of life.During this period, I also:◈ Participated and collaborated in countless working groups with partner offices and stakeholders to improve counterintelligence tradecraft, which increased the safety of intelligence operations throughout the operational area.◈ Developed comprehensive relationships with Intelligence Community colleagues, Law Enforcement Agencies, Military partners, and International civil and military personnel.Prior to that, my 12 year career in the Marines began as a Scout Sniper and then a Scout Sniper Instructor. As a Scout Sniper Platoon Sergeant, I was responsible for all successes and failures of the 30-man platoon and served as a senior tactical advisor to the Commanding Officer. I was responsible for training, equipping, and employing my team in demanding and high stress combat operations, throughout Afghanistan and Iraq over the course of multiple combat deployments.During this period, I:◈ Provided Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Special Surveillance Group with over 50 hours of detailed instruction on surveillance, counter surveillance, camouflage, and concealment.◈ Provided instruction to over 200 basic, intermediate, and advanced sniper students in surveillance, land navigation, camouflage and concealment, individual movement, as well as mission planning. Developed 22 basic, intermediate, and advanced sniping periods of instruction.
