Albuquerque, New Mexico Area

In December of 2008, the Eisenhower Middle School Girl's basketball team in Albuquerque, N.M., completed their fifth straight undefeated season culminating in a 50 game winning streak. During this season, the team never trailed in any game, played more away games then home games, and even defeated their moms in a "fun" game 102 - 12. Five of that season's fifteen girls have never lost a game during their entire middle school experience. Sixty percent of the girls were seventh graders; it's typically 20 or less. Joe announced his retirement at the start of the season, effective at the end of the season, after 21 seasons at the school and a winning percentage of 76%.
