With a primary focus towards data retention and disaster recovery, I am joined with a small group of IT professionals, each with their own area of expertise, in order to develop and hone product offerings and architecture for the Expedient family of data centers.My responsibilities include:- advance new technologies through the Product development cycle- Work with our IT support, sales, and customers in order to understand technological needs and requirements- Along with our OSC and deployment teams, develop SOP’s for support and product delivery- A top tier/escalation point for internal support teams.

• Maintain customer support SLA by providing a top tier incident triage/escalation point • Provide network and system expertise to a dedicated customer base.• Research and Development of new product offerings/internal systems• Lead network engineer for a facility based environment of over 30 customers• Lead engineer for the managed backup and data retention product offering

• Provide advanced level technical support to customer and staff• Spearhead incoming technical projects and maintenances• Manage response/follow-up of AUP complaints (spam, phishing, attacks, etc.)• Creating and maintaining procedures and processes for NOC technicians

• Provide second level technical support to customer and staff• Creating and following through with trouble tickets• Perform regular SAS70 audits to managed devices (Load balancer, Cisco, Firewall, Windows, Linux)• Managing customer information retention systems, including maintaining scheduled backups and emergency restores.• Providing support to the following managed devices. This includes troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining systems:o Windows Servers (2003 and 2008)o Linux Servers (Red Hat)o Checkpoint Firewalls (Nokia \ SPLAT) (Single homed \ HA)o Cisco ASA Firewalls (single homed \ HA)o Cisco Routers (single homed \ HA)o Cisco Switches (single \ stacked)o Big IP F5 Load balancers (single homed \ HA)

• Provide first level support to customer and staff• Uphold SAS70 compliant standards and documentation• Creating and following through with trouble tickets which includes escalating to appropriate departments• Maintain both facility and system access control mechanisms• Perform regular SAS70 audits to managed devices (F5, Cisco, Firewall, and Windows servers)• Document and troubleshoot issues regarding T1 (point-to-point and public facing), Ethernet, and NLAN circuits. This would include testing T1 circuits with a Tberd line tester and opening trouble tickets with carriers• Maintain both customer and facility based tape backup regiments including regular offsite rotation• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures regarding NOC processes
