I deliver educational activities at RSPB Lochwinnoch Nature Reserve, developing a curriculum-led environmental progamme from primary to tertiary education. I also maintain the infrastructure and conservation projects on the reserve, helping implement the management plan, including using GIS.Off the reserve, I write outdoor lesson plans for use by primary teachers across Scotland, including extensive co-design projects. I also work on communications, finding stories of outstanding young conservationists and giving them a platform within and outwith the RSPB, and am currently co-designing educational resources on biosecurity with schools in coastal and island communities.In Glasgow I work within the Giving Nature a Home team, working with schools and community groups on digital outreach and practical conservation, including during the buildup to COP26.

I studied phenology and remote sensing methodology as part of Dr Isla Myers-Smith's research group. I was part of a 2015 expedition to Qikiqtaruk, YT, Canada, studying climate response in plants, and we have worked closely since, collaborating on further fieldwork, published articles, and an award-winning club teaching coding skills in R.

I led TCHP's events, focusing on engaging people who are underrepresented in outdoor learning. I also managed Woodfield, a subsidiary charity which operates a community centre, organising its opening and establishing systems for ongoing success.

I led and established scientific operations for a new NGO in the Zambezi valley, researching the local area and conservation methods used elsewhere, as well as supporting the anti-poaching unit.

After co-founding the UK's first student housing co-operative, I was involved in co-ordinating our basement renovations. As a four-person team we covered building and liaising with contractors, managing and training volunteers, and running the finances and logistics of the project.
