Over 35 years of Law Enforcement experience with vast experience in Criminal Investigations and Special Event planning and permitting. I was a Detective in the Criminal Investigations Division for about 9 years investigating Major Crimes, Gangs, Financial Crimes, Federal Task Forces, and Legal Liaison to Dallas County Courts. I promoted to supervisor and was assigned to Administration in Planning and Research, transferred back to Criminal Investigations Division Supervising Auto Theft, Burglary, Family Advocacy Center, Registered Sex Offenders, Intelligence, and Gang Unit for another 8 years.I spent the vast majority of approximately 34 years, working Special Events such as Dallas Cowboys NFL football at Texas Stadium and multiple major concert events at the stadium. I also worked PGA Golf tournaments at The Byron Nelson Golf Classic for many years. I supervised our Special Events Unit and planned large scale events such as USA Triathlon, Professional Triathlon Organization, and Live Nation concerts at Toyota Music Factory. The planning included me being in charge of reviewing and approving all permits as required by ordinance, participating in all meetings during the planning process, and scheduling all police officers required for security detail and traffic control. I also managed the planning and scheduling required for VIP escorts and security detail in our jurisdiction. The planning process for large scale events is tedious and involves hundreds of stakeholders.The use of software to manage these events are a must. I used Rollkall to manage all off-duty jobs and events which was truly a life safer for scheduling, time management, and payroll resolution; which only name a few of the many great features. I used Microsoft Teams extensively to document all steps of the Special Event process which kept my team aware of job responsibilities, assignments, and tasks completed.I have been blessed with many opportunities and experiences during my law enforcement career. I am a very dedicated and dependable employ that recognizes the importance of good communication skills and the importance of listening. I continue to strive to make myself better and I believe in working hard to achieve your employers' goals. I have always tried to leave a job position better than it was when I received it and ensure that others who fill my old position have an outline of the job responsibilities.
