    Post doctoral research associate in Stem cell liver therapy in the Centre for Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine at King’s College London. My work here used single cell RNA sequencing to identify a true human fetal liver stem cell population to support the development of of IPSC-derived hepatocytes for cell therapy. This research led to a first author publication at Nature communications. Other work • Designed and executed experiments to understand the transcriptional networks driving human hepatocyte maturation from ESCs and IPSCs.• Used functional genomics to identify molecular pathways that could be targeted during stem cell directed differentiation and validated using, lentiviral infection, RT-PR, ELISA and imaging.• Developed Bash and R customs scripts to analyze and interpret single cell data.Relevant skills include: - ES & iPS cell culture- Bulk and scRNA-seq- 3D Organoid culture- Primary tissue processing- Confocal imaging analysis
