Academi U.S. Embassy Kabul, Afghanistan. Shift Leader. Responsible for the safe movement of U.S. Diplomats in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; supervised fifteen-man security detail. Duties include the planning, preparation, and execution of safe motorcade movements within Afghanistan. Additionally, I establish and maintain onsite security for all venues. As a SL I prepare the staffing rotation as well as all administrative duties assigned to the team. Currently SL for U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan’s personal protection detail. Am responsible for ensuring my team complies with all aspects of the contract with the client (Dept. of State). Interact daily with project management, the Regional Security Officer, and the Ambassador to develop solutions and make recommendations to insure his security is of the highest quality and to find middle ground with all three parties.
