I have been around boats from an early age. In 2007 I became a yacht owner buying a blue water 47 foot sailing ketch with my wife. Since having the vessel, we have completed two major refits and sailed over 20,000 nautical miles. My training as a surveyor included completing the practical Marine Survey Training Course in Ipswich and shadowing an established surveyor in 2020.

This role involved assisting with the implementation of a new CRM (Customer Relations Management) System company wide. Working with the project lead I helped individual departments migrate their working practices across to the new CRM system. This involved using agile coaching methods and creating online course material.

Working within the Solar industry, my role in the company involves liaising with customer enquiries, advising and designing solar panel systems for customers using 3D modelling software. I would then take the design and turn it into a proposal which would be presented to the customer. The role also involved being out on site surveying the property to provide information to other departments to deliver the installation.

As co-founder of Kinetic Pixel in 2013, during the seven years of my involvement, there were many roles required to build the company. Technical experience of broadcast graphics, touchscreen and digital signage systems led naturally into becoming creative director. I have subsequently created the graphics systems for a variety of television broadcast shows, namely game shows, elections and poker. Ventuz is the realtime graphics system that I then combine assets from outside along with internal elements, animations and logic to form the graphics system that can be driven by a series of bespoke controls. I have to work closely with programmers, designers and interface with the studio to show the graphics on whatever the display requirement is, be it a score display to a multi projector video wall.
