Manage all aspects of a fixture and gauge division within the company. * Implemented the AS9100 aerospace quality management standard to ensure all projects aremanufactured to the highest possible quality standards.* Pan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of anengineering department.* Develop and implement policies, standards and precedures for the engineering andtechnical work performed in the department, service, or firm.* Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications, explain proposals andpresent engineering reports and findings.* Assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the department or project teams.* Recommend personnel and oversee development and maintenance of staff competence inrequired areas.* Participate directly in the design, development and inspection of technical projects orin the engineering work of the department.

* Recommends goals and objectives consistent with ISO 9001-2000 & AS9101B.* Evaluate program effectiveness and recommends changes as needed.* Develops data gathering and reporting according to customer's specs.* Identifies training needs and ensures that necessary job related instruction isprovided.* Recommends or initiates disciplinary actions in accordance with applicable rules andpolicies within the Quality department.

Provide engineering support and project management for a dynamic Fixture & Gauge company.* Ensure the flow of work of all departments meets customers deadlines.* Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directingthe integration of technical activities.* Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess thefeasibility of projects.* Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.* Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.* Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approvingexpenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials,equipment, processing and services.* Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering andtechnical work performed in the engineering/quality department and shop floor.* Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the developmentand maintenance of staff competence.* Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
