As Senior VP and Director of Strategic Growth at Pennoni, I am involved in new initiatives and technologies that we are either employing or investigating to better serve our client base. In addition to being innovative, I find these new technologies to be personally energizing and exciting. They are changing the way we do business and deliver projects. At Pennoni we have coined the phrase "Smart Solutions" as a way of differentiating these new applications. Another one of my duties is to assist in our Mergers and Acquisition activities. I have done a number of M&A's throughout my career as a way of expanding both our geography and discipline offerings.On the project side, I have more than 40 years of experience in a wide range of designs involving site engineering, roadway and highway design, utility and drainage design, environmental infrastructure, energy and sustainability, survey and mapping, traffic signalization, planning and environmental studies, municipal engineering, project specifications, cost estimating and, contract and construction administration. While working on projects I encourage our teams to utilize the newest technologies that are available in the marketplace. Many of these offer operational efficiencies to our clients. In addition to my activities above, I am an Adjunct Professor at Widener University, teaching a course on the Land Development Process. I have served as an Adjunct for the past 12 years. Another role I fill at Widener is serving as a Board Member for the School of Engineering's Advisory Council.
