Foster a close partnership with the Office of the CTO and other product leaders and set the design vision and direction for the IT Business Management product offering. Evaluate and raise the UX, visual and interaction design IQ across all teams, supporting a culture of design around user centered outcomes.Continually assess, evaluate and question how to make products, people and processes better to ensure they are best aligned to ensure we can build products that allow our users to best access, visualize and explore large, complex datasets; intuitively creating insight from analysis.

Responsibilities included project intake and discovery, interviewing business partners on project details, translating business partner’s needs for developers and interpreting developer’s ideas back to business partners, and coordination of these project build through launch. Utilized Figma as a rapid prototyping tool to style wireframes. Immediately after project launch, coordinated an after-action review which is a frank discussion and assessment of what went well and what could have gone smoother throughout the entirety of the project life cycle. The projects were then monitored and reviewed against key success metrics over time.Integrated into multiple facets of the Sitecore support system and a relied subject matter expert on content strategy and atomic design. A subject matter expert for internal online experience, including the entirety of Raytheon Technologies’ two intranet environments, partnered with site architects, back-end developers, designers, and UX personnel. Process documenter and source of multiple training and ‘skill-up’ workshops. Topics included: WEB design, page layout theory, coding principles, asset naming conventions, website footprint, search engine optimization, metrics gathering and interpretation of data, requirements gathering and training documentation. Hosted a bi-weekly design and coding workshops with staff from the recently merged company of Raytheon Technologies, Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney. The knowledge sharing sessions helped improve the baseline of the web, UX, Dev, Sitecore content dev teams as it pooled unique perspectives and identify overlapping needs.

Responsibilities included the concise articulation of value proposition, identification of the value stream and elimination of waste - to involve, align and empower the employee through careful study of interactions in the existing process.Used the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) framework to form specific measurements, identify specific problems, and provide specific solutions that could be measured per project. Solutions and opportunities that resulted from these projects improved reoccurring campaigns. Through close scrutiny of the undesired and desired effects of the current state, causal analysis and ultimately a prioritized list of opportunities to eliminate waste were provided. All documentation was then presented to senior leadership and a slimmed down report was further handed out to the creative team and subject matter experts for reference on reoccurring projects.Over this time, tutored eight Six Sigma Specialists through their certification.
