fault finding, repair and maintenance of Alstom 458/5 passenger train fleet

Technical support provided by MATISA UK for London Underground projects team as well as Transplants maintenance and operative crews including: electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis.

Performing all types of electrical and mechanical maintenance and fault diagnosis on the 455, 456, 458 and 458/5 fleets. Adhering to depot safety and maintenance procedures. Tasks include electrical function testing for resistance, voltage and insulation resistance tests as well as replacing rolling stock components such as; relays, lighting, brake pads, HVAC units, compressors, filters and large-scale switching systems for train auxiliary power and 3rd rail power supplies.

Undertaking all forms of electrical maintenance including fault diagnosis and repairs on systems such as ferry berths, cranes, tugboats, marinas, lighting, buildings and generators among other electrical systems.

Performing all types of mechanical and electrical maintenance including fault diagnosis and repairs to systems and components such as; motors, extraction systems, contactors, UPS's, water supression systems and bogies among other components.

Undertaking all forms of maintenance and repairs on various electrical and mechanical systems within the harbour, mostly under the watch of a qualified electrician/mechanical fitter. This included ferry berths, cranes, lighting, installations, motors and the replacement of electrical and mechanical components such as contactors, solenoids and rams for example.
