He built and leads a major student program that has provided 300+ graduate and undergraduates with top-tier consulting and internship opportunities. He also manages consulting projects with corporate partners. Previously, he was Senior Director of Operations and Planning at Signal Vine, a technology firm that improves student outcomes in college attainment and persistence. He played an instrumental role in doubling firm revenue and staff size by advising the CEO and working closely with the executive team.At Arabella Advisors, a consulting firm working with philanthropists, he led client projects on strategy and evaluation, and managed the analyst team. Joe worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as an Associate Policy and Program Officer, where he built partnerships with NGOs in India.Joe serves on the board and finance committee of the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control, the Advisory Council of the Bethesda Green Innovation Center, and the Advisory Board at the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning. He is an advisor to The School for Ethics and Global Leadership. He holds an MBA and MS in International Affairs from Georgetown University, and a BA in English from Wesleyan University.
