Discipline Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer Fire - I work with Asset Engineering to ensure that the Fire Detection & Protection Systems for the new Crossrail railway can be brought into service & are compliant, safe, operable & maintainable, delivering the defined Crossrail performance requirements.I ensure compliance to applicable standards and operational requirements on our handed over facilities & Fire System assets.I verify the accuracy of Crossrail asset data being uploaded in the RfLI Computerised Asset Management System (Maximo) and create the job plans and maintenance frequencies to allow us to have an effective system• I oversee the fire systems maintenance contract to assuring that the right level of compliance and quality is delivered.• I ensure as Infrastructure Manager that our Fire Detection & Alarm system assets comply to BS5839-1, our Fire Mains to BS9990, and our Smoke Control Pressure Differential System to BSEN12101-6 and that we apply the guidance of BS9999, Approved Document B (V2), BS7974 and all applicable London Underground and TfL Standards to ensure our facilities remain safe and compliant.
