As the Director of Canada Gas Operations Services, I led a department (200+ members) that are responsible for establishing the strategic direction for Canada Gas’s Compression and Measurement Facilities in how the assets were operated and maintained which included managing strategic relationships with our major equipment vendors and repair depots to support the business in meeting customer expectations. As a result, I was responsible for overseeing an annual portfolio of ~ $500MM+ that included on average ~1000+ projects on an annualized basis. The department teams included the following:♦ Compression & Measurement Engineering Teams: Through a risk-based approach, these teams are responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the facility integrity & reliability programs, strategies and plans for Compression and Measurement facilities.♦ Turbine Fleet Management & Major Rotating Equipment Team: Responsible for day to day oversight and vendor management of the gas turbine and major rotating fleet’s maintenance program to ensure safe and reliable operations.♦ Gas Quality & Tariff Management Team: Responsible for ensuring gas tariff agreements were being met and gas quality risks are mitigated including day to day interactions with our customers.♦ Methane Emissions Management Team: Responsible for ensuring Environment and Climate Change Canada act requirements are met. ♦ Gas Control Center (24/7 Operation): Responsible for monitoring and controlling ~44K kms of natural gas pipelines in Canada.♦ Canada Gas Program Management Team: Responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Canada Gas Operations (CGO) Management Program which describes how CGO meets TC Energy’s Operating Management System and mandated programs requirements.

As a Gas Controller, I worked within TransCanada's System Design and Commercial Operations team. During this time, I monitored and controlled TransCanada's Mainline, TQM, PNGTS and Tuscarora Pipeline networks.

Responsible for maintenance activities and emergency response to all of the facilities within a prescribed area. It was during this time that I was on the Business Strategy Team, Budget Team, Central Region’s PM Efficiency Review Team and was a HS&E site representative.
