The Director of Digital Media is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing and communication strategies that support the Advancement Division's comprehensive fundraising campaign, annual fund, and alumni engagement efforts. Through close collaboration with Advancement's Senior Vice President and Senior Director of Advancement Communications, the Director of Digital Media leads the multimedia team in devising, producing, and delivering targeted content that leads to measurable actions, bringing Northeastern closer to its fundraising goals.VIDEO:-Serve as the lead content producer, driving digital media projects that resonate with our donors from conception to completion.-Generate and inspire creative concepts, communicate those concepts through outlining, scripting, and storyboarding.-Oversee all aspects of production from directing, interviewing, camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.-Supervise and support the post-production process.-Determine and assign appropriate channels for content distribution.BRANDING:-Establish, execute, and oversee digital communications strategies that speak to our donors and provide utility to our gift officers.-Determine and reinforce a brand identity for the fundraising campaign.-Develop original, on-brand content and messaging for strategic distribution across designated platforms and channels.WEB:-Manage strategic direction and day-to-day operation of the Advancement division's online presence.-Create, maintain, and optimize the Empower website and subsidiary sites/pages.-Manage and amplify social media presence. -Extend social reach and effectiveness through audience engagement.-Apply measurement tools across platforms so that user data can be tracked and evaluated, and the user experience can be enhanced.-Create regular performance reports and recommendations for improved actions and initiatives.
