August 2011 to Kaplen JCC on the PalisadesPresent Athletic Director • Hire, train, and supervise a staff of over thirty P/T and F/T employees which includes sports instructors, coaches, counselors, trainers, and administrative staff• Manage a budget of over $500,000 gross income annually• Administrated an increased gross annual income by 60% in three program years• Oversee a facility housing two NBA size basketball courts, a running track, two racquetball courts, a gymnastics facility, and four outdoor tennis courts• Organize a private elementary and middle school facility’s competitive travel basketball program along with after school sports classes• Reinstituted both recreational and competitive travel basketball programs by way of leagues, classes, and training that grew from thirty children to over two hundred• Run summer soccer, basketball, tennis, and sports day camps grossing over $130,000 and netting over 300 campers • Counsel all coaching staff for over 12 youth basketball teams on ethics, competition, and offering a healthy youth sports experience• Founded EXCEL – a fitness and nutrition program designed to encourage children to live a healthy lifestyle• Prepare payroll for all employees within the Athletic Department• Create and serve as lead instructor for various new sports classes for children 18 months to 5 years old
