I was honoured to work with Movember during my final year of study at the University of West London as a student ambassador for the charity. This role included; being trained in communicating the importance of men's physical and mental health, having challenging conversations with people about their wellbeing and also organising fundraisers within student groups to support the Movember charity. In November of 2018, I was able to arrange and fulfil fundraising activities alongside my fellow social secretary of University of West London men's rugby team and raised over £1,000 for the organisation.A truly memorable and fulfilling endeavour, my work with the Movember organisation has inspired me to be more vocal about men's health and also volunteer with other charities whenever I have the opportunity to do so.
