As a Specialist I also worked closely with the legal team to ensure all documents are in the correct format and are appropriate for the client’s setup. Other responsibilities included resolving FIX related issues on new setups and resolving broker issues within a 24 hour SLA. In this key role I had a high level of direct client contact and interacted with various internal groups as well as brokers to assist with new client setups. Responsibilities included the ordering and coordination of all new hardware, software and data circuits, installation, failover testing, vendor management, coordination with union electricians and all other groups within the project.• Power Downs: 3 successful power-downs of the entire 15 floors of our building including the datacenter. This included isolation testing of redundant Market data systems. Each year we did this, there were no day 1 issues and the projects came in under budget.• Mergers: 3 Mergers with other investment banks that included integration of new and current systems.
