I am a senior partner with Desai & Diwanji and am also jointly managing the National Capital Region offices (Gurgaon and Delhi) of the firm.My legal career has been quite varied from being associated with the offices of the Central Government Standing Counsel in the High Court of Delhi, litigating on behalf of the Government of India to having been part of the regulatory practice of PwC. Through law school and for some years thereafter, I was also a radio jockey (RJ) doing the morning prime time show on Delhi's main english FM channel, 102.6.My specialisation is cross-border transactions (inbound and outbound) across sectors and I have led multi-jurisdictional acquisitions for my clients. My endeavour is always to provide my clients with a practical and holistic solution to transactional and other issues leveraging on my experience in litigation, corporate law and tax and regulatory structuring.In addition to M&A, I focus on two very divergent areas i.e. real estate, wherein I act for real estate funds and developers across asset classes (including warehousing, housing, retail and commercial) and technology law.
