Tribal Business News, a new business publication covering tribal economic development, Indigenous entrepreneurism and related government and policy issues, launched Oct. 1, 2020 as a collaboration of Native News Online and MiBiz. My responsibilities as the founding managing editor included:• Planning and delivering a weekly newsletter with original stories on economic issues in Indian Country, as well as reporting breaking news as it happens.• Leading a remote team of reporters and freelancers• Developing relationships with key decision-makers in Indian Country.• Working with our audience development team to identify ways to deepen and expand the reach of Tribal Business News.
