Director Of Public Affairs And Professional DevelopmentAcfo-Acaf Jan 2019 - Feb 2022Ottawa, On, CaIn 2019, in addition to my duties as Director of Communications and Public Affairs, I oversaw the launch and operation of the Comptrollership Training Centre, an in-house training and development institute for financial professionals in the public sector. This included curriculum development, course delivery, working with third-party training providers and building the operations of the Centre.That same year I also took over responsibility for the administration of the Joint Career Development Program, a million dollar training and development program co-managed by ACFO-ACAF and the Office of the Comptroller General.From September 2019 to September 2020, in addition to my regular duties as Director of Public Affairs and Professional Development, I acted as Chief Administrative Officer for ACFO-ACAF, overseeing all operational and corporate service functions as a mat leave coverage assignment. This increased my supervisory headcount to five and gave me direct oversight over information technology, events and facilities management and membership administration. During this time I oversaw the complete migration to a virtual office due to COVID-19 and also retrofitted the office for the eventual return to the workplace. -
