Graduate Course: Sustainability in Corporate America

Part time adjunct professor teaching "Sustainability in Life and Work" general education course.

Initiated the first sustainability program for the GSA MidAtlantic Region and molded the development of the program. Responsible for the sustainability efforts of a large inventory of federally owned and leased facilities.

As a project engineer for the Federal Government, I manage various types of repair and alteration projects in federally owned and leased facilities. My responsibilities include scopes of work estimating, calculations, research of technologies, general project management and field oversight on mid-sized design and construction projects, training of new engineering intern, among other duties. This includes survey, design and construction work. While my main role is that of general project management, a secondary hat that I wear at GSA is that of an unofficial in-house sustainability expert. I am chairperson of GSA Region 3's Sustainability Council Training Committee and have taught several trainings and worked on various energy and water saving projects within the region. This area is where truly my passion lies and I am always interested in expanding sustainability within GSA.
