Currently, I lead Architecture for Symantec's Privileged Access and Identity Management solutions. This powerful and versatile platform protects Secret, Credentials and Privileged accounts for organizations by providing a military-grade cryptographic vault while leveraging zero-trust authorization principles. PAM provides a single control plane over a truly heterogeneous (hybrid) environments:on-premise and/or clouds, within a region and/or geographically dispersed. PAM continuously evaluates risk via adaptive behavioral analytics allowing customers to craft dynamic policies designed to automatically react to changes in risk. PAM continues to push the limits on scale while maintaining the lowest TCO as possible.Previously, I was the Chief Architect for CA's award winning next generation PaaS, a platform that enables Product teams to focus on feature development rather than delivery and DevOps. In the application economy, the ability to develop and deploy features quickly and safely is essential; CA's PaaS has dramatically reduced the time to deploy and scale CA's products and simultaneously increased the operational predictability. On top of my technical skills, I have over a decade of experience within Financial Services Technology. At Goldman Sachs, I led Audit Technology globally through a revamp of its methodology and technology as it shifted away from a cyclical review cycle into a risk-aware cycle. Goldman's Audit approach and technology was named 'best in breed' by the Fed in 2012. I also helped to spearhead the technology effort to build a common GRC (Governance, Risk and Control) framework across control groups within the firm which included Internal Audit, Compliance, Technology Risk, and Regulatory Risk. At Fidelity Investments, I held a wide range of positions ranging from mainframe and web developer to manager of front office applications. As part of an internal startup, financial planning products that combined both retirement and non-retirement assets were designed and delivered to web-based customers.When I am not working, I can be found learning more about kubernetes, docker, microservices and containers, spending time with my wife and four kids, and playing goalie in local ice hockey leagues.
