I’m responsible for strategic planning, startup, buildout, logistics, marketing, training and financial results. Our operations lead their respective categories and operate at the highest levels. The Showmen's League of America is a 501(c)10 Social/Fraternal nonprofit founded in Chicago in 1913 and first headed by Buffalo Bill Cody. It’s a community of showpeople dedicated to service and fellowship. By providing scholarships, financial aid and memorial services, and annually hosting a Christmas Party for children with special needs in Chicago, they promote the mutual welfare of their members and all showpeople.As the Executive Director of The Showmen’s League of America, I helped modernize and streamline the 100-year old operation. Starting with the sale of the League’s downtown Chicago headquarters, I championed proactive strategic planning, oversaw the move into new facilities, and upgraded the computer systems. I also managed and promoted the League’s large Las Vegas Trade show for five years, and re-invigorated it to make it one of the most successful events of its kind in the industry.

After purchasing a 100-year old canvas company, I tripled sales in a few short years and evolved it into the largest supplier of outdoor amusement canvas in the world. Waterloo became the preferred supplier for every major U.S. outdoor amusement ride company, every major U.S. carnival, and nearly every amusement park.
