The Recovery ReStart Sober Program runs 13 weeks and supports participants in navigating their way through the barriers, blocks and obstacles which they encounter moving towards the ideal of PERMANENT RECOVERY.The program is client-centered and strengths-driven, and employs evidence-based tools and techniques such as decision balance sheets, mind-mapping exercises and motivational interviewing. Using S.M.A.R.T. GOALS, … participants develop a forward-moving overall plan of action focusing on the RECOVERY CAPITAL areas in life which they decide are most important. The individualized action plan is then reduced by each participant .. into weekly and daily goals and tasks … Each morning, participants communicate their action plan for the day ahead --where they will be ... what they will do ... what they will accomplish ...and at the end of the day there is accountability for the efforts made, or unmade, in that day.
