With over 30 years of experience developing and executing strategies that enhance cultural and organizational change, Jose (Joseph) Cabral is a nationally recognized human capital thought leader, who leverages his expertise to ensure alignment of organizational goals to successfully achieve business outcomes. Presently, Joseph is a member of the Board of Directors and of the Audit Committee of CGFNS International, one of the world’s largest credentials evaluation for registration and licensure of nurses and health care professionals worldwide. Joseph previously held a number of other board positions, including as Vice Chair of the CGFNS International Board of Trustees’, member of the Board of Directors of the National Center Healthcare Leadership and Farmingdale College Foundation. Joseph has recently served as the President of Workforce Solutions and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Press Ganey, a company held by private equity firm, where he was responsible for formulating strategic priorities for all areas of Workforce Solutions. As a strategic business partner to more than 41,000 U.S. health care facilities, Press Ganey offers an integrated suite of solutions that address safety, clinical excellence, patient experience and workforce engagement utilizing its technology platform that gathers and analyzes data, and translates the findings into shareable actions to inform decision-making and drive growth. Prior to joining Press Ganey, Joseph was CHRO at Mass General Brigham Health, one of the largest diversified health care organizations in the United States. Before Mass General Brigham, Joseph was the CHRO at Cleveland Clinic and at Northwell Health, held key leadership roles at NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital as well as served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force. Joseph holds a MS degree in Quality Systems Management, has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Massachusetts, served as a Baldrige Examiner as well as on New York’s Regional Economic Development Council. He has been cited by Time, BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Forbes and other industry publications for his expertise in Human Resources best practices, and in 2014 he received the CHRO of the Year Award from HRO Today.
