I am a partner and Co-Practice Group Leader of the KMK Litigation Group. I help clients manage and reduce litigation risk and litigation costs; when litigation arises, I coordinate cases on a national, regional, and local basis.I primarily work on class action and complex commercial litigation and have experience primarily in securities, ERISA, antitrust and general corporate and business litigation as well as in copyright infringement and intellectual property litigation; False Claims Act and qui tam litigation; product liability/tort litigation; and constitutional law. I have had the privilege of representing Cincom Systems, Inc., Fifth Third Bank, Griffin Industries, LSI Industries, Inc., and other clients in litigation matters and have also represented Great American Advisors, Fifth Third Securities, Inc., and other clients in FINRA and AAA securities arbitrations.I helped establish the KMK E-Discovery Litigation Support Group. I assist clients in developing information governance policies and create proactive, defensible, and cost-effective end-to-end E-Discovery solutions for litigation and regulatory investigations.I also helped establish KMK's Cybersecurity & Privacy Team, an interdisciplinary group of attorney focused on helping clients manage risk; develop and implement data protection and cybersecurity response plans; coordinate cybersecurity response actions; and defend litigation if needed.I frequently author legal alerts and blog posts and present CLE seminars on various litigation topics.
