My team of 12 manages the Data and Voice communications for the Seminole Tribe of Florida across the entire state of Florida. We manage all the communications for the reservations services, such as Police, Fire, Health and day-to-day operations.

As Telecommunications Manager, I manage a team of 2, we maintain the operations of the City's Voice and Data Infrastructure as well as work on / design and plan the future communications infrastructure. The managing for the budgets and expectations for our voice and data services.As a System Analyst Principle Worked with communication vendors to design and implement two fiber rings between key City locations that even in the event of a fiber cut the communication between key locations will continue. Also designed and had implemented a similar system with our voice service provider, that in the event of a failure on one of our primary rate interfaces communication will overflow to one of our other interfaces with no loss of service or functionality.As A Senior Network Analyst additional responsibilities include planning sessions with various internal departments as well as external agencies that set the direction of communications and interaction of information between outside agencies. Monitor Network for User compliance to City Policy as well as maintaining security of infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include maintain and improve city data and voice networks. By using a combination of LAN Wireless and Backbone Wireless, Frame Relay, Metro Ethernet (For and Internet access) and fiber runs, the city is connected to a Metro Wide Area Network. At all our connection points we have a Varity of Cisco Routers and Switches. I maintain a combination of Nortel BCM (50, 200 and 400) , Meridian Option 11, Succession 1000 , Succession 1000M and CICS PBX system. We use a combination of VoIP and TDM telephones.

Major AssignmentsAssigned to City of Miramar April 2003 – November 2003 The City of Miramar is in the process of rebuilding City Hall, Adding additional Police and Fire Station annexes. To accomplish this we will be redoing the Network and Telecom infrastructure implementing Wireless Network connectivity across the city. The new infrastructure includes Cisco 2600, 3200 and 6000 series routers. Planning and Implementation of remote office solutions like Citrix Metaframe and Wireless PDA/Pocket computers. The new Telecom infrastructure includes new Nortel PBX’s, Voice over IP and super trunks.Assigned to Florida Day Cruises April 2002 – August 2002Florida Day Cruises (DBA Texas Treasure Casino) is a casino ship company based out of Corpus Christi Texas. They operate 2 casino ships; one in Texas, the other operates from the Port Of Palm Beach. The nature of the environment (operating 3 plus miles away from land) presented some technical challenges.

SoftMountain was a Startup company that due to affiliations with Milcom Technologies and Lockheed Martin had access to software systems that at one time created for a specific military application that now can be re-worked to provide needed commercial services.I was hired to build and design the network infrastructure, voice infrastructure. Evaluate the office network hardware; work with chosen vendors to provide the needed systems. Evaluated and setup Office electronic mail system, web systems, data lab systems and evaluation platforms. Also perform help desk services for end users
