I am responsible for long-term IT decisions for 3vG including the scaling up and out of the IT Infrastructure as the company grows. I work across departments and ensure the IT team meets or exceeds the needs of not only our customers, but our internal users as well. I prepared, provided information for, and managed the systems side of RST's acquisition of 3vG. I continually come up with new technologies and processes to foster communication and infromation sharing between the several entities under the Terra Insights brand of companies. I also spearhead the Cyber Security Program at 3vG which includes deploying managed XDRs on endpoints, maintaining Vulnerability Management projects, and designing Security Awareness Training programs for end users. At the same time, I am responsible for ensuring all employees follow IT policies and best practices that my team sets. I assign responsibilities to each IT individual and champion their skill sets while also fostering growth through regular check-ins and annual reviews.

I work in a small IT team to manage the company network infrastructure, Linux (Cent OS 7) and Windows (7/10 Pro) work stations, and in-house High Performance Computing Datacentre. I administer Wavefront's local Active Directory and Office 365 subscriptions for both the Vancouver and Toronto Offices. This includes provisioning and maintaining Virtual Machines on VMWare ESXI 5.5 and managing Dell PowerConnect series switches, a Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto PA-220, Maintaining SharePoint Sites, Microsoft Teams, Office365 Groups, Windows/Linux/Mac OS X support and maintaining print servers.Sadly, Wavefront filed for bankruptcy on May 14, 2018

My responsibilities consists of maintenance of the network infrastructure for Wavefront and its Tenant Companies as well as solving general IT related problems. This includes provisioning and maintaining Virtual Machines on VMWare ESXI 5.5 and managing Dell PowerConnect series switches and a Cisco ASA.Other responsibilities include the installation and maintenance of Perfecto Mobile's mobile cloud testing infrastructure and being qualified to travel to install these systems for Wavefront on Perfecto Mobile's behalf. I am also responsible to deliver training in Perfecto's native automation scripting through their system and Hewlett-Packard's UFT and QTP's testing systems. This training is delivered to our partner customers (customers of Perfecto and HP) and our own customers where Wavefront has resold the Perfecto/HP hardware and software.

As a coop student, I solved helpdesk tickets and learned the network infrastructure of Wavefront and its tenant companies. Tickets included general IT help as well as managing VLANs and subnets for the different tenants, printers, and asterisk-based FreePBX.I also assisted with the support of Perfecto Mobile and its data centre located at Wavefront. This involved supporting Perfecto Engineers remotely with keeping mobile devices online for automation testing.

I worked with General Electric on the North Edmonton Light Rail Transit Signals Upgrade Project. GE would send us the track plans and PNR was responsible for installation.- I worked closely with a PNR Superintendent and planned the cable pulls for the 8km of track. Given a certain number of various sized pipes in the duct bank, I had to decide where to put each cable to optimize each pull while also keeping up with Canadian Electrical Code standards- Devised an organized technique to track and label each wire termination for all 62 Signals Termination Cabinets (STC). My records also determined how many STCs and what sizes were to be used.- Kept ever changing plans up to date on a fast−track project, some weeks would see GE revise the plans up to three times.
