The WebStir client application was developed in C++ using Microsoft Visual C++. The primary focus of the application was to access a proprietary Internet search engine that categorized electronic component datasheets. The application provided a multi-threaded foundation for the downloading and viewing of the datasheets to the local file system. WebStir provided hierarchical project management capabilities to organize the downloaded datasheets, along with additional meta-information, into user-defined projects. Collaborated with the team to develop the data model for the search engine database. Served as mentor to other staff in the area of Object Oriented Programming in C++.
