What I love about working with numbers isn't relegated to the symbols that appear on paper. No, numbers tell a deeper story. They express motives, aspirations, and reveal what is truly valued. As a prospective Certified Management Accountant, I am enthusiastic to take on the challenge of a career in discovering their underlying message. I want to delve into the clutter that numbers can sometimes present and tell you what we can do in the future. I want to answer the question: Where can we go from here?Being thrusted into the world of finance and learning all aspects of the finance department on the fly, I have gained an immense appreciation and love for this line of work. It has also proved to me and my employer that I can take on the unknown and land on my feet. This experience has helped mold my leadership style, and cultivate a positive work environment. I take great pride in the growth in skills through cross-training of those with whom I work. Outside of work I am a dedicated husband and father of 2. I enjoy playing multiple sports, both of the real and fantasy varieties. More recently, I have developed a strong desire in cooking and baking.
