Supervising a team comprised of specialists and supervisors supporting the Advanced Clinical applications for HCA facilities and Parallon clients in both 5.x and 6.x platforms. Responsibilities included participating in hiring, training, and performance management of all team members, coordinating and leading customer interactions, issue escalation and staff workload management. I primarily focused on providing system optimization for Physician and Nursing applications. Specifically, I worked with the Advanced Clinical modules (Physician Access/Physician Documentation, Order Management/E-Prescribing, Patient Care/Patient Safety, Nursing and Pharmacy). I would provide training, education, guidance to clinicians in order to achieve optimal workflows. Additionally, I worked on the Meaningful Use Stage I & II roll outs. I assisted in the certification process for the HCA release of MEDITECH 5.6. I also assisted customers with meeting Meaningful Use requirements. Projects : Participated in enterprise wide roll out of 6.x applications for Parallon client.

Applications Specialist I worked as a contact for HCA facilities, providing customer service, training, system optimization and software issue troubleshooting for the applications I supported. I worked in a team with Programmer/Analysts to resolve technical issues. Additionally, the role required the ability to multitask, work with multiple group through the organization, design and mainstain application documentation and particiapte in multiple projects at one time. I also provided on site and remote training and optimization services for the following MEDITECH 5.x products at HCA facilities and Parallon client facilities:Nursing (NUR)Quality and Risk Management (QM/RM)Physician Care Manager (PCM)Senior Applications Specialist I continued the same job responsibilities but acted as Team Lead. Additionally, I continued to provide on site and remote training and optimization services for MEDITECH 5.x products with the addition the following MEDITECH 6.x products at HCA facilities and Parallon client facilities:Patient Care & Safety System (PCS)Physician Care Manager (PCM)Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Emergency Department Management (EDM)Quality and Risk Management (QMR)Projects : Worked with client on incorporating the Clinical Care Classification (CCC) nursing nomenclature into the MEDITECH 6.x EHR. Created Best Practice Documents for MAGIC and 6.XPresented at Customer Optimization events demonstrating for customers software optimization opportunities that would provide efficiencies and greater user satisfaction.
