I am a C level leader and serial entrepreneur. My work includes naming over 100 companies, building the brand and marketing strategies of 100’s more, and creating the visual identities of more than 50 businesses. Additionally, I founded the world’s largest dance website (Dance.com), the world’s first Pilates apparel brand (PilatesSport), and invented the world’s most discreet medication container (CapsulePen).After college, I arrived in NYC and took a position at the largest dance media publisher in the world. Two years and several promotions later, I left and co-founded a dance touring agency and a women’s active apparel brand called Pilates Sport. The apparel brand grew to receive a purchase order from QVC, and the touring agency is still going strong over 10 years later. Next, I decided to sell the apparel brand and return to publishing. I took over Dancer Publishing Co. in 2007. In 2009, I purchased both Dance.Com and Dancer Magazine, and took the publishing business online to great result. I was then asked by a friend to restructure LighterLiving, a healthy consumables and media company with distribution via QVC. When I left a year later, the business was saved and comfortably in the black. Afterward, my creative side took over once again and I invented, patented, and brought to market the CapsulePen.After much success I was then recruited to work at BRANDING FOR THE PEOPLE, a fledgling strategic agency. This route allowed me to take all of my experience and use it to catapult the trajectory of not just the agency, but also of the emerging and expanding businesses that we serviced. In just over 3 years, we built a full service agency that had tripled in size by every measure.
