Joe Cowan is CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader providing flexible, industry-specific software designed around the needs of manufacturing, distribution, retail, and service industry customers. More than 40 years of experience with our customers’ unique business processes and operational requirements are built into every solution―in the cloud or on premises. He reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for setting the strategic direction, which will allow the company to be an innovative leader in the markets it serves. He is also responsible for all operations. Prior to joining Epicor, Joe held the position of CEO and was a member of the Board of Directors of Online Resources Corporation, a leading provider of online financial services that was acquired in January 2013 by ACI Worldwide. Prior to that role, Joe served as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Interwoven Inc., a provider of content management software, from April 2007 until its acquisition by Autonomy, Inc. in March 2009. He has also held executive management positions at Manugistics, EXE, Invensys, Wonderware, Texas Instruments, Eurotherm Corp. and Monsanto. Joe has served on the Board of Directors Blackboard, and DirectData Networks, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of NICE Systems, a leading Israeli technology company. Joe holds a MSE degree from Arizona State University and a BSEE degree from Auburn University.
