Torus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in Portland, Oregon with the goal to bridge gaps between people and communities by facilitating transformative experiences of language and culture exchange through free virtual and some in-person English classes to immigrant, refugee, and low-income populations. Being a Torus Board Member meant I:- Tutored 2 total students in ESL during a 6-month curriculum cycle.- Attended monthly board meetings and presented financial reports.- Contributed to writing the rough draft of the company's non-profit Bylaws.- Oversaw the creation of the TORUS app that translates important material/resources surrounding the COVID vaccine. - Spearheaded the Indonesian ambassador program and translated numerous fundamental Indonesian words to English for learning purposes.

Lapu, the Coyote that Cares Theatre Company (LCC) is an Asian-American theatre company and was started because the founders, Randall Park, Derek Mateo, and David Lee, wanted to provide an Asian-American voice in an industry that was sorely lacking in diversity.Key responsibilities:- Direct the LCC Improv team during practice and rehearsal.- Lead short-form and long-form improv games during quarterly shows.- Plan and organize improv and comedy shows.

The UCLA Transfer Leadership Coalition (TLC) is a collective of student organizations, leaders, and transfer allies who work collaboratively to support the transfer student community at large. They strive to foster transfer receptive culture at UCLA. The three prime goals of the TLC are to bring transfer students together to share information, collaborate, and advocate. Cherry Pop Records is UCLA's independent and first student-run record label. Through Cherry Pop, artists obtain support from our Marketing, A&R, Business Affairs, Production, Visual Media, Radio, Press, and Events Departments. We also host shows and music events for the UCLA community in the Westwood area. Cherry Pop Records aims to create a community where students can gain valuable, hands-on music industry experience working directly with artists to create, distribute, and promote records. We work to strengthen connections between UCLA and the local Los Angeles music scene, as well as provide artist development opportunities for independent artists.

Undergraduate Research Journal of Psychology (URJP) is an annual publication of collaborative efforts between undergraduate students at UCLA and neighboring universities. The organization intends to serve the undergraduate community at large by making the publication process more accessible and highlighting the interesting and relevant nature of the study of psychology. As an editor in the URJP, I:- Go through rigorous weekly training where I review past academic literature to polish my editing skills and broaden my comprehension of psychological research topics during the fall quarter.- Read through and review numerous submissions of research papers and literature reviews from undergraduate students and decide whether or not to accept the paper during winter quarter. - Reach out to accepted authors, finalize edited papers, and review the research journal in its entirety before publishing it during the spring quarter.

OutWrite Newsmagazine is a growing multi-media platform that uplifts and empowers the often silenced voices of the underrepresented community. We challenge dominant cisheteronormative narratives through an unapologetic, radically inclusive, and intersectional lens.Key Responsibilities:- Published written pieces about contemporary topics within the underrepresented community and personal creative narratives to the news site.- Attended various writing workshops to enhance my skills as a writer.

Spindrift is Shoreline Community College's award winning, student-run Art and Literary journal. It has a rich history of publishing outstanding student, local, and regional art and literature since 1966. Each year, hundreds of student artists, and writers submit their work for the chance to be published. The journal is designed and produced by a student team with help from select faculty advisors. As the literary editor for the 2022 edition of the magazine, I am responsible for overseeing all the literary works that go into the magazine.

Peer Educators are a handful of current students who work closely with College Success faculty to develop course activities, organize and facilitate course events, and lead and contribute to class discussions. New Undeclared students are encouraged to take a College Success course, and Peer Educators play a vital role in their success. As a Peer Educator, I:- Worked closely with College Success faculty to develop course activities.- Planned out floor plans for student events and organized the layout accordingly.- Facilitated student events that would provide substantial resources for college students.- Reached out to students in need and act as a source of relevant information while also leading class discussions about certain college topics.

The Student Representative is a position in Shoreline's Associated Student Government where I:- Served on campus committees to provide student perspective within larger college conversations on topics such as curriculum, communications, accessibility, and sustainability.- Managed the front desk of the office by answering calls, accommodating visitors, and completing clerical work through Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)- Served on internal committees to contribute to conversation and help guide decisions related to the use of student fees.- Helped take minutes of internal committees to record conversations and decisions that are made.- Collaborated with and supported officers as needed on projects and/or events.

Interned at the National Police Headquarters of Indonesia, International Relation Division (DIVHUBINTER):- Worked under the guidance of a Senior member of the division where I was given a tour of the building, basic training regarding what they do and their cooperation with INTERPOL, and an official name tag I would be temporarily using whilst on the internship.- Met with the head of the division where I would be given extensive lessons about how Interpol system works and their role in it as the representative of Indonesia’s police organization.- Tasked to research all about terrorism in Indonesia with the help of the resources found in the database and create 2 entire reports on it, one in English and the other in Bahasa Indonesian.

ABLB & Partners is a law firm situated in South Jakarta:- Worked under the guidance and supervision of one of the leading lawyers present.- Received basic law training from one of the owners of the law firm.- Spent multiple days in the courthouse observing court trials, taking notes of thesurroundings, and running errands for my supervisor, allowing me to interact and meetmultiple judges.- Gained access to the law firm’s extensive library with contained many of their past casereports.- Received a small salary for my work and efforts.
