This forms part of the monthly reporting pack, which is sent to Head Office (Canada). - AP and GRN reconciliations; ensuring sub ledger matches general ledger and analyzing the differences. This again, forms part of the monthly reporting pack which is reviewed and sent to Head Office.- Purchase Ledger Control; full control of maintaining purchase ledger for the organization including entering invoices onto Syspro, investigating and dealing with variances and discrepancies, supplier statement reconciliations, processing supplier payments though Syspro and HSBCnet internet banking. Also dealing with internal and external customers via telephone and email. - Sales Ledger; Main cover for the AR role and often was expected to produce sales invoices in colleagues absence. Also involved in chasing major debts and producing an aged report for Head Office.- P&L Analysis; Analyze figures from the Trial Balance and report directly back to the Management Accountant, who then uses the information in the month end reporting pack.- Implementation of ERP & Banking system; Assisted in the smooth transition when changing banks and the process of global rollout of Syspro, to Canadian and US offices.- General Office Duties; maintenance of the AP / AR filing system, dealing with telephone queries and queries from internal departments including offices in Canada, USA and Australia. - Sarbanes Oxley; all of the above duties are processed within the UK and Canadian SOX regulations.- During this role I also travelled to the Canadian head office to assist with a full handover of my role once redundancy was announced. -
