Reporting directly to the GM/VP of the Temecula Fab Site, lead a diverse team with responsibilities in Site Level Buying/Planning (Raw Mat & Spares), Factory Scheduling, Warehouse Operations, General Analysis and SAP Support. Lead the effort to reduce Raw Material and Spare inventory by >20% over a 2 year period (a multi-million dollar reduction) while improving both Inventory Accuracy and availability. Created several Access based tools to help the team make and maintain a multitude of operational efficiency gains.

Buying and planning silicon, quartz, and targets. Managing the MRP to ensure appropriate inventory levels to support production needs. Tracking inventory values, tracking price point variations, managing purchase orders (both standard production and engineering), reconciling invoice discrepancies. Coordinating resolution in quality excursions and RMA related issues.

Managed a small group to provide Business Management with operations/business reporting and analysis on a wide variety of topics (including historical POS and POP sales trending, demand creation, margins, quote activity, inventory, and pricing) to help gain better insight into their respective global business operations. Develop new processes, tools and reporting and/or identify improvements on current processes and streamline current reporting, analysis and data integrity. Created tools with Microsoft Excel & Access to facilitate Business Managers pricing decisions.

Developed and utilized spreadsheet and database analysis to improve the parts ordering process. Responsible for maintaining low inventory, forecasting, and demand planning and analysis for service parts while achieving record fill-rates to dealers. Used analysis skills to isolate and correct abnormalities in the supply chain. I assisted with process improvement for overall ordering procedures and operations efficiencies within the parts department.

Assisted in developing and managing report/decision making analysis tools as well as predictability measurement tools. Responsible for data collection and analysis on a range of supply chain issues such as MPS versus sales demand, margin shifts, factory commit changes, sales demand changes, product availability, forecast vs. actual analysis, shipping efficiency, and world wide inventory. Liaison with I.S. for development projects.

Review and validate inventory levels and customer forecasts for any unusual activity. Extensive use of Excel (Creating formulas using VLOOKUP, IF, etc) and Access. I served in the role of Super-user on the implementation team for Manugistics. Solely responsible for preparing sales proposals (obtaining component quotes, comparing for best price, generating and tracking contracts, etc). Created an access database that automated the generation process of Request for Quotes (RFQs) based on manufacturer and distributor information.

Researched and processed credit requests for shipping issues, price protections, return authorizations, billing discrepancies, and most other account issues. to serve as investigator of internal fraud and procedural improvement issues as a member of a 3-person Cost Reduction Task Force.
