I started my Blog up and used two of my previous reviews to start off with, while finding and reviewing the right albums. I continued for 2 months and gained 4,500 views for my 20 reviews, which included popular music like Agnes Obel, Bastille, etc. A majority of the albums, singles, EPs and tracklists I reviewed were underground and rising acts around the UK, and some further. There are one or two live reviews in there, after being asked to help out at the OBS competitions in Leicester by Arts In Leicestershire, now known online as Music in Leicester. Feel free to contact me about reviewing your music, though for time purposes I may have to charge, but only a small amount. That is, obviously, providing you'd want to. It seemed to gain a lot of attention for most other bands I reviewed, as I use a promotion tactic that works along side reviewing small artists around the country/world. On the 8th day 9 months on from the first post, the blog reached 9,000 views. Piezo is the band Glory For a Dead Man reformed as, without a vocalist originally. We have focused on making the music as full compositions, rather than separate songs. We have used the first track as a heavy hitting, post-hardcore metal track, getting deeper, heavier and thicker throughout the composition. We have used the first track as a heavy hitting, post-hardcore metal track, getting deeper, heavier and thicker throughout the composition. We then let feedback ring us into our next track, which has a much more instrumental indie-jazz style track, using indie chord progressions and energy, while the beat and rhythmic nature of it has jazz influence. It does lead on into a metal tone, still keeping it's jazzy nature. We flow through different styles of music (reggae, indie, brit-pop, blues, etc.) though out songs, still keeping a relatively unknown style, on top of the remnants of metal and jazz. I took on the responsibility of managing the band and booking gigs, arranging venue hire, contacting other bands and music journalists and keeping the members on track.We are currently adding more to our set, and are set to record in the Easter holidays, using the drummer's home studio and my computer with Cubase for production/mastering. I have been booking all of the band's gigs, organising photoshoots and setting up the soon to come EP launch and an all day festival. The role of glass collector involves lots of responsibilities, such as keeping the bar fully stocked with drinks, ice, dirty and clean glasses. Replacing full bins with empty ones from the bars is also my responsibility, as well as many other miscellaneous tasks. My main responsibility of course is to ensure there are no empty or unused glasses around the club to ensure there is no smashed glass.Then there were the various elements of cleaning early morning.
