Agent Academy is a 12 week course that will provide me with vital digital marketing skills that will set me up for a career in the industry. The programme is a mix of learning and real work. Over the length of the programme we will complete a client challenge, creating a marketing strategy for a company that will implement our ideas. The mix of learning and real-life work is extremely exciting. Not only will I get the chance to improve my knowledge of marketing, but I will also be able to implement this knowledge with the client challenge!

Whilst working for MeetspaceVR, I was responsible for a wide range of tasks. Initially starting out as an intern, my work involved maintaining the social media channels of MeetspaceVR whilst training myself in Google Ads and Facebook Ads.The content posted to the social media channels involved the following skills:• Adobe Premiere Pro• Adobe Photoshop• Canva• Copywriting• Hootsuite• Knowledge of Instagram/Facebook/TwitterAs my understanding of Google/Facebook Ads grew I was tasked with creating campaigns on both platforms. I was responsible for performing keyword research using tools such as SEMrush and UberSuggest and performing competitor analysis to determine the most profitable keywords. I was also responsible for writing the ad copy and creating video/image content for the various PPC campaigns. I worked closely with the CEO to decide on advertising spending to maximise our ROAS. Following my work during the internship, I was offered the position of Digital Marketing Assistant. My responsibilities were extended to include working on SEO blog content for the MeetspaceVR website. I was also tasked with advising the CEO on UX changes that would improve key metrics such as Pages / Session and Bounce Rate.
