Responsible for sales & growth for the Burmax family of Brands that includes over 9000 items in the Midwest and Southwest regions that encompass 17 states and 6 sales reps. (Greg Dawson and Associates.) We sell to full service professional distributors, OTC retailers, barber, nail and spa dealers.

Northeast, East Coast United States + Canada

Oversaw six distributors and sales territory that sells Neuma to a collective of 11 states and Ontario Canada with 63 salespeople total. The U.S. territory included IL, IN, MI, NY, MA, and all New England States. Responsible for distributor and salesperson goals, distributor launches, product and promotional sell-in’s, education planning and facilitating.

• Cultivated and grew sales territory in Eastern MI (10 years) and Western MI (3 years.)Represented 70+ brands and 1000’s of SKU’s selling at the wholesale level.
• Delivered a 50% increase in sales revenue Year 1 and a more than a 275% increase by Year 7 while at SalonCentric (Formerly Maly’s Inc.) selling to multiple and independent retail operators.
• Earned Maly’s “Newcomer Sales Award” and “Sales Recognition Award” (respectively) in Years 1 and 2 of employment for embracing clients within the company’s “Philosophy and Values” system.
• Awarded Maly’s “Highest Total Sales” for Division 2 2005 & 2006. #1 SSC with the “Surface” brand in MI 2012.
• Worked in harmony and assisted with PK with 7 SC Stores in East Michigan, and 4 Stores in West Michigan.
• Reduced client anxiety during Maly’s acquisition and merger and maintained account base and sales numbers during this time period. Refocused product mix with well-known brand names and other lesser names.

Greater Detroit Area

Airborne Traffic Anchor/Aerial Camera Operator for WDIV Local 4 Detroit (NBC). Operated FLIR camera system and voiced live, televised traffic reports and breaking news during AM drive from a Bell 203B Helicopter.

Responsibilities included top management for 14 employees in the firm. Overseeing daily operations, communicating with clients, sponsor schedule and copy accuracy, updated traffic information and road construction, computer technician.On air Traffic Anchor for both Morning and Afternoon Drive for a variety of formats including News/Talk, AC, and AOR..
